All the hexies: Six Ways to Heaven
Meet new hexie I named - Six ways to heaven :)
It sort of looks like it is formed from 6 triangles, but in reality we work with six colours on one hexie to make it happen. Colour change is similar as we did for the first one - Dark vs Light. But we do switch on each corner, not two + all rows in one colour, not three .. also - you might get uncontrollably tangled in this hexie so to minimize that I would suggest you try to do it in one sitting .. as kid or cat, or short trip in a bag will only help to create the mess.. good thing - there is just 6 rounds so if you are lucky (or have great juggling skills) yarntangemonster won’t eat you :D
I picked this name because triangles look like arrows to me and we are always searching for that perfect way to happiness and I am here to tell you there IS more than one way to achieve it :)
Finished hexagon is same size as solid 6 row hexagon made out of dc’s. Same goes for stitch count: one edge of the finished hexagon is 12 sts (+ 1 ch for each corner .. so finished hexagon on last round has 78 sts).
Pattern is 19 pages long including:
- written instructions (in English using US terms);
- picture for each round.
I enjoyed making the hexie and pattern - I hope you will enjoy it too ;)
