All the Leaves are Brown
All the Leaves are Brown (or any color of the rainbow) is a top-down circular yoke sweater. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, making the pattern seamless. The back collar is raised using German short rows, and a video link is included for that technique.
The pattern is the perfect mix of textured stitches (knit and purl) and stranded colorwork patterns.
The sample is knit with Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Reminisce, and Spincycle Dyed in the Wool and Nocturne, but any sport weight yarn will work. I used three different colors of Spincycle for the patterns, but you can use as few or as many as you wish, even using scraps for the different leaf motifs.
You can make this pattern cropped or long, simply by adding or subtracting motifs. Sleeves can be any length--from elbow to bracelet to full-length.
