Simple wool leg warmers with a touch of color and pattern. These are a perfect gift for a new baby (put them in leg warmers around the house and they won’t have to wear pants. Diaper changes are a breeze), they grow with a child and go beautifully over tights and with dresses in the Fall and Winter.

Knit in the round on double pointed needles, these use up almost exactly one ball of Quince & Co Chickadee (with a little left over if you choose to do the contrasting color zig zags). They can easily be made all one color, knit longer or adapted into bigger sizes to fit older children (just buy your yarn accordingly).

This pattern is one size (fits newborn to 2 years old). They measure 9 inches long with a un-stretched circumference of about 7.5 inches at the widest part.
