All Wound Up Yarn Shop is celebrating its 6th birthday in July of 2021. In honor of the occasion, owner Nona designed these beautiful toe up socks featuring lacy vines and leaves. They are especially lovely knit in one of the two custom colors of WildStar Fibers Supernova Sock - dyed just for our shop!

Yarn: WildStar Fibers Supernova Sock
(85% superwash wool, 15% nylon, 437 yds/100g). One skein will make one pair of socks, up to a size 10” foot and 9” leg length. Sample is shown with 9.5” foot and 6” leg length.

Size:
8” leg/foot circumference. Customize leg height and foot length by knitting additional rows.

Gauge:
30 sts and 42 rows over 4” in stockinette. Adjust gauge by changing needle size. The lace is stretchy and will open up with blocking, so you may wish to size down 1 needle from what you normally use to knit socks. Work the heel at any point in the lace motif. Foot and Leg length are fully customizable. However, you may use more yarn if you knit socks longer than what is recommended above.

Needles: US size 1.5 (2.5 mm)
