A simple top down v-neck raglan blouse or light
sweater, with raglan increases to create the sleeves. The balloon style sleeves feature a waffle-stitch pattern. The sleeves are finished with an I-cord edge, whereas the body and neck edging (which is picked up from the edge), use a half twisted rib.

Designed to have between 2”-8” positive ease.

You will work back and forth using increases to create the V neck, then join in the round before separating the sleeves.

When working the V, I would advise writing down the pattern stitches, increases, and direction of your knitting for the WS & RS as the waffle stitch section on the sleeves can be a bit confusing if you are unable to identify the pattern within your work.

I recommend that this pattern is best suited to intermediate knitters or adventurous/confident beginners.
