This is a PDF knitting pattern for the All Weather Knit Sweater.

This beginner friendly garment features a V neck and cropped sleeves, and is knit from the top down. To begin you will start with the back working flat. You will then work the front by picking up stitches on the right and left shoulders. Once both back and front are completed you will join them to work the remainder of the body in the round. Collar and sleeves are created by picking up stitches and working in the round. There is absolutely no sewing or seaming.

The All Weather Knit Sweater can be knit in a variety of yarn weights. Because of the large gauge it can create an airy effect when using lighter yarn weights or a closer stitch with heavier yarn weights. I encourage you to play around with different yarn weights to create your desired look. For a more breathable look, try worsted weight cotton. For colder weather you can use multiple yarn weights held together or a chunky wool. Get creative! As long as you can match the gauge, this sweater can be knit in a whatever yarn weight to suit any type of weather. (For reference my sample was knit in Aran/Heavy Worsted weight.)

Garment is intended to have 2-4in / 5-10cm of positive ease after blocking. For a more oversized fit, you can go up in size.

XS: fits bust: 28-30in / 71-76cm
S: fits bust: 32-34in / 81-86cm
M: fits bust: 36-38 in / 91.5-96.5cm
L: fits bust: 40-42in / 101.5–106.5cm
XL: fits bust: 44-46in / 11.5–117cm
2X: fits bust: 48-50in / 122–127cm
3X: fits bust: 52-54in / 132-137cm
4X: fits bust: 56-58in / 142-147cm
5X: fits bust: 60-62in / 152-158cm
