This simple pattern features a hand-painted yarn and stitch work to create the texture. It’s very lightweight, yet warm, and the kind of vest that you could wear over a T-shirt on a cooler spring day, or over a woolen turtleneck in the middle of winter. It is worked from the neck down: you start with the yoke, knitting across and work downwards for the main body of the vest, eventually ending at the bottom edge.
