Make some special mitts for your mom (or anyone you love) out of warm, rich nubby tweed.

These mitts incorporate a variety of techniques: two color cast on, Vikkel braids, picot hem, closed cables, corrugated ribbing….Options are given, however, for simpler mittens.

reading charts, cabling, stranded knitting (for corrugated ribbing), hemmed bind off. Willingness to learn Vikkel braid, corrugated ribbing, two color braided cast on (instructions given). Instructions not specific to DPNs, 2 circs or Magic Loop.
