This is the first in a series of patterns inspired by the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - a series which combines the best and more interesting characters in literature and asks the question what if they set off on adventures together. Given the theme, it seemed only right to start with Allan Quartermain in this sock I designed for my father though I think the end result is quite unisex in its appeal.

I designed it and wrote it be a simple introduction to toe up socks so if you’ve been hesitant to try them, then I think this is a good place to start demystifying them.
