Alligator
Alligator is a scarf like no other! It incorporates my fun new Beaded Stacked Increase (BSI) technique. The shawl is knit in the round, while applying the stacked increases on 2 ends to form the heavily elongated oval shape. The shawl body is textured by alternating stockinette and seed stitch sections to provide depth and interest. Finally, the unique and innovative border is a succession of BSIs to form the beaded picot edge – Note, there is also an alternate border provided for those who want to work an easier version. Though not exact, both version have a similar look and feel.
