Allium
Inspired by the umbrella-shaped flowers of onion and garlic plants, this modern fisherman’s style toque / beanie pattern incorporates a fun variety of stitches. The main panel uses cables and bobbles to represent the stems and blooms of the flowers, while the stacked pyramids and mini horseshoe cable bring some texture. The wide ribbed cuff adds warmth and keeps the hat snug. Worked up in a thin yarn, this nature-inspired project is great for makers who love detail and intricate designs. Celebrate some plants that are as pretty as they are delicious :)
