Notes from the Designer:
This accessory set was inspired by the ornamental plant species allium giganteum. Its blossom is made up of clusters of many small bulbs that are arranged in a sphere and contribute to its striking appearance. This characteristic is picked up and repeated throughout all the pieces of the set, which includes a cowl, headband, and matching fingerless gloves.
The flower motif features a long stem with leaves that are highlighted by eyelet lace on reverse stockinette. The allium blossom is mimicked by evenly arranged cables completed with bobbles. All items are finished with a bottom and top border that imitates flower petals. Worked in Enduring Worsted, this set will not only keep you warm on cold winter nights, but also works up quickly for a fun and diverse project.

- This floral inspired accessory set includes a cowl, headband, and matching fingerless gloves. All items are finished with two borders that mimic blossom petals. Each piece is knit in the round and worked bottom-up, starting with the lower flower petal border. The main motive features eyelet lace, easy cabling, and bobbles. The top border is attached by using the Kitchener Stitch method.
- All slipped stitches are slipped purlwise, if not otherwise noted.
