Allium
The same lace pattern is used in the main part of the scarf and the front ruffles, but in different yarn weights. This scarf can easily be changed to fit your style. Using a self-striping yarn may be fun (if you choose this option, I recommend using chunky-weight yarn instead of two strands of DK weight to preserve the color repeats). Or you could attach two or three buttons in contrasting colors, make a longer scarf without buttons, or work longer ruffles—the choice is yours.
NOTIONS
Smooth waste yarn for provisional cast-on; tapestry needle; one 1 1⁄8”
(2.9 cm) button; sewing needle and matching thread.
