Alloy Shawl
Alloy is a is a hybrid between shawl and scarf – long and narrow with subtle crescent shaping. It can be draped in many ways and you can wear it with almost every outfit, either as a decorative accessory or as a warming scarf for outdoor activities. Due to its versatility, Alloy will soon become a staple accessory in your wardrobe.
The pattern includes a smaller and a larger version:
Large Shawl
from CO to BO at the widest part: 26 cm (10.25“)
wingspan length: 250 cm (98.5“)
Small Shawl
from CO to BO at the widest part: 25 cm (10“)
wingspan length: 190 cm (74.75“)
Make it from your own choice of Fingering weight yarn. The sample uses the following yarns:
Color 1: Malabrigo Mechita colorway Plomo
for large shawl: approx. 575 m / 630 y , for small: approx. 385 m / 421 y
Color 2: Malabrigo Mechita colorway Frank Ochre
for large shawl: approx. 320 m / 350 y (1 skein), for small: approx. 265 m / 290 y
