Allspice is a very playful and very girly cardigan featuring cute ribbed or belled ruffles and ribbed texture throughout. It is a part of the “Spice Girls” series of cardigans designed for everyday wear, each one with a little unique spice of their own.

Allspice is a variation of Saffron design; Allspice is worked from the top down, uses short rows to shape shoulders and set-in sleeves. This cardigan has a different fit and construction as compared to Saffron which is a top down raglan shrug, but the overall look is similar.

The cardigan is completely seamless.

Allspice is more suitable for intermediate skilled knitter or a very adventurous advanced beginner.

3.5 mm/US #4 circular needles (30, 80, 100 cm or 12, 32, 40 inches);

2 stitch markers in color A to mark beginning of the round and top of the shoulder;
2 stitch markers in color B for set-in sleeves shaping;

2-3 sets of small hook and eye closures (optional);
