Alluvial
February Knit From Stash Vol 3
TOE UP
Alluvial Fans are a fan shaped sediment deposits. My favourite example is in Rocky Mountain National Park. Created in 1982, when Lake Lorraine spilled 29 million gallons of water flooding the town of Estes Park and creating a 42 acre fan. This catastrophic event created one of our favourite family hiking places.
