THIS IS A PAID UNTESTED PATTERN

As you all know, I am muslim girl - that is why I never show my hairs in pictures.
One of the main issues in wearing an hijab is the underscarf, a device able to keep hairs in place and supply grip and stability to the veil itself (never try silk on free hairs, it won’t last long).
In my hijabi journey I tried many DIY solutions (buying for me is not an option) and this last one summarizes it all.

  • it covers my ears protecting them
    from wind
  • it is fresh it is not so thight my hairs won’t breathe in it
  • it’s light and thin
  • it gives stability to my veil
  • it’s cotton
  • it’s fashionable (I like to show my underscarf and it has to be stylish)
  • it suits the shape of my face, and avoids the dreaded MoonFace Effect
  • It can be easily washed/dried

….when I was done designing and making it I also realized one more thing….

  • It is so nice and smart it can be worn by anyone! Hijabis or not, you can
wear it for a summer trip to the sea
or with a casual look to spice it up.

It’s one size fits all because of the elastic hair tie in the back.
