Notes

The hat is worked vertically, starting with a foundation chain. You’ll alternate slip stitches (slst), half double crochets (hdc) - almond stitch, and half double crochet slip stitches (hdcss) - for the band, in rows, working back and forth until you reach the required number of rows for your chosen size.

Mittens are also worked vertically, starting with a foundation chain. Almond stitch on the body and slst blo on the cuffs. After completing this piece, you’ll join the ends and leave a hole for the thumb, finishing with working on the thumb and closing the top of the body.

The scarf is worked in joined rounds from bottom to top using only almond stitch.

Ch 1 at the beginning of each row/round does not count as a stitch.

Instructions to customize the size of all three pieces are included in the pattern.
