Almost a Granny Slouch Hat
I created this slouch hat pattern to match my Almost a Granny triangle scarf. They are both a lighter weight version of a granny stitch that gives them a classic feel with a lacy twist that is great for in between weather or warmer climates.
I love the look of granny stripes in scarves and other wearable items but find them a bit too hot for where I live. So I came up with the Almost a Granny stitch pattern which has the same look but with less bulk and when combined with a cotton yarn you get a cosy looking item that you can actually wear in a warm climate or in spring/autumn!
This hat is created in rounds from the bottom up allowing you to easily adjust for a perfect fit and your preferred amount of slouch.
The pattern uses basic stitches suitable for advanced beginners and has a soothing rhythm even an experienced crocheter will enjoy.
