Nothing says warmth like columns of cozy cables! These socks are adorned with classically inspired cables, but with modern touches. The smaller cables on the side expand for a lacy feel, and taper down into a sweet honeycomb at the toe!

This pattern includes plenty of options for you to create your perfect sock. Choose from a heel flap and gusset or an afterthought heel, and follow the pattern instructions to make short ankle socks, or taller mid calf socks!

Yarn Required: 200 (250, 300) yds / 185 (230, 275) m.
A foot circumference and shoe size chart is provided in both imperial and metric, and in US and EU shoe sizing.

The Soft & Light base is 462 yds (422 m) / 100 gm skein.

Almost Aran Socks will look wonderful in a tonal yarns, gradients, solids, and even lightly speckled yarns! Testers used a variety of colors and styles, and only recommended avoiding heavily variegated or speckled colorways.
