This sweet and lovely little girl’s dress has got it’s inspiration from the cabled yoke used in my “Grey Impression” cardi. 3 cables worked in a rounded yoke that fits beautifully around the neck and shoulders. The cables follows the dress in the front, and the visible increases adds charm to the dress. Picot edges for finishing - could it be more girly?
The knittingpart is fun and easy. You work the yoke and pick up stiches from it to work the raglanshaping, body and small sleeves in the round. The dress is completely seamless, except for the seaming of the picot hems.
I used Cascades Ultra Pima, which is both soft and easy to work with and comfortable to wear.
