ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Aloé Top is worked from the top down on circular needles. First work the back yoke, then the shoulders, then the front. Ruffled edge is worked along the body. This pattern is beginner friendly.

Sizes above correspond with the following chest measurements :
78-82 (82-86) 86-94 (94-102) 102-110 (110-118) 118-126 (126-134) cm
Measure your own chest circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.
MEASUREMENTS
The Aloé Top is designed to have approx. 15 cm of positive ease measured under armpit. Meaning the fit should be 15 cm larger in circumference than your actual bust measurements.
The measurements are indicated on the diagram on page 6.

YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) 300 (300) g of Belle from DROPS (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen, 50 g = 120 m).

Circular needles 4 mm 80 cm
Circular needles 4.5 mm 100 cm
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Pre-blocked gauge: 22 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 4 mm.
Post-blocked gauge: 20.5 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 4 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.
