Errata** (Note: I will send a pattern update as soon as possible:
Page 5, after “Separate Sleeves from body” WS row is completed:
Sizes 3mo, 2yo and 6yo: when working the first RS after separation, you will have an extra stockinette stitch compared to what is on the chart. Simply knit this stitch, then follow the chart.
Sizes 6mo, 12mo, 18mo, 4yo and 8yo: when working the second RS after separation, you will be missing one stockinette stitch compared to what is on the chart. Simply ignore the last (for Left Front Chart) or first (for Right Front Chart) stockinette stitch on the Chart, then follow the chart.

As sweet as a whimsical children’s song, this little cardigan is the prefect addition to a little girl’s wardrobe.
Straightforward to knit with its top-down construction and pretty stitch pattern, it features lovely details such as the subtle flare at the top of the 3/4 sleeves, which echoes the overall swingy shape.

Construction:
This garment is knit seamlessly from the top down, with the button bands worked as you go. The yoke is worked flat using raglan increases then sleeves stitches are put on hold while the body of the cardigan is worked in one piece. The ¾ length sleeve stitches are then worked in the round.
Skills required:
Casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round, yarn over, working a stitch pattern using elongated stitches (explanations/link to video tutorial provided), binding off.
To fit chest: 16 (17, 18, 19 // 21, 23, 25, 26.5) inches or 40.5 (43, 45.5, 48.5 // 53.5, 58.5, 63.5, 67.5) cm.
Garment chest at underarms: 16.75 (18, 19.25, 20.5 // 21.75, 23.5, 26, 28.75) inches or 42.5 (45.5, 49, 52 // 55.5, 59.5, 66, 73) cm..
Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 300 (350, 400, 450 // 500, 600, 700, 800) yds or 274 (320, 366, 411 // 457, 549, 640, 731) meters of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino 55% Wool, 33% Microfiber, 12% Cashmere ; 137yd/125m per 50g/1.76oz ball or similar sport weight yarn.
Needles:
- US 4 or 3.5 mm circular needle (or size needed to match stockinette stitch gauge).
- matching set of double pointed needles (for sleeves)
- US 3 or 3.25 mm circular needle (or one size smaller than needles used to match stockinette gauge).
- matching set of double pointed needle.
Notions:
- 8 stitch markers
- tapestry needle
- 2 pieces of scrap yarn
- 5 (6, 6, 6 // 6, 7, 7, 8) buttons ½-inch or 1.3cm in diameter
Gauge:
24 sts x 32 rows = 4 inches or 10cm in stockinette stitch after blocking using larger needles.
26 sts x 38 rows = 4 inches or 10cm in embroidery stitch after blocking using larger needles.
