Spring weather brings spring cria! Cria is the name given to a new born alpaca baby. They are all legs and neck with huge beautiful eyes and are oh so soft and cuddly.

I was inspired by our own cria here at Dutch Hollow Acres and created this cute knitting pattern. Drawn on 4:5 ratio landscape knitting graph paper this little cria will work up in correct form without being distorted. Chart dimensions 75 snitches Wide by 70 stitches tall. This pattern is meant to be worked on the landscape side not the portrait side.

I am currently working up a blanket using this pattern and will add photos when I’m finished.
