When my friend sow my cat arm warmers she ordered similar arm warmers but with llama.

Than I draw cute llama in Illustrator and create this pattern.

She chose the colors to fit her coat. :)

You can buy the finished product from my shop (look in arm warmers section) or to order a pair in other color.

There is two patterns, first for knitting mittens in two colors (brown and beige) and the other pattern for embroidery black eyes,mouth and orange cheeks.
You do embroidery with duplicate stitch knitting.

I am knitting these with five double pointed needles Size 1 (2,25 cm).

For finishing fingers and cuffs I use crochet hooks 3mm (US D) and 6mm (US J). I always do a couple of rows of crochet at the ends of arm warmers because they usually twist or stay loose if I finish with knitting.

I use Scalloped Ending crochet for finishing thumb and fingers, but if you do not want this kind of decoration you can simply do one or two rows of simple crochet.
