The Alpaca My Bags & Leave Poncho is perfect for a dressy wrap or a cool autumn walk among the leaves. The fine weight makes it light and packable - excellent for travelling.

The stitches used are basic, but construction does take some knowledge of crocheting, making this an advanced beginner or intermediate level project.

The pattern can easily be adjusted for a larger or smaller person, by increasing or decreasing the starting chain, or adding/subtracting pattern repeats.

The poncho is designed to be worn asymmetrically, however its a versatile piece that can be worn with buttons down the front, or as a wrap/shawl.

Please Note: The actual suggested yarn weight for this pattern is a #1 Fingering weight yarn. Ravelry keeps defaulting the yarn weight to a lace weight for some reason - I have tried to change it twice. The yarn i used - Master Alpaca Fine - is actually listed as a #2 sport weight on the Ice Yarns website, but it is much thinner.
