Hi Everyone

This is a scarf pattern which I did a very long time ago. Its a drop stitch reversible scarf but I used 3 strands of 4ply Alpaca yarn together so you can play around with another yarn type if you desire. Using 3 strands together does give added interest to the stitch pattern but you can play around with other yarns with this so I will leave it up to you as you may decide to use one chunky yarn type or 2 strands of DK yarn together.

The fabric is reversible as you can see from the photo.

I used 7mm needles for this design but again if you are using other yarns do a tension square with the yarns you are experimenting with and you may find you need to adjust your needle size accordingly to suit the yarn you are working with.

The drop stitch is easy to do and the fabric also involves simple knit and purl stitches. A beginner knitter who has mastered knit and purl and rib may want to give this design a go.
