Alpenglow Hat
This pattern is found in The Colorwork Bible and cannot be purchased as an individual download. The book is available for purchase here.
This hat is worked in the round from the top down. You’re welcome to bind off when you get to the brim to make a beanie, but if you want to keep those ears warm, try out this little method of switching to working flat for the earflaps and then reattaching the yarn to work the brim bind-off! You (and your ears) won’t regret it. Color options on this hat are really fun. You can play it restrained like my version and let the solid main color shine, or bring out the party yarn to play in front. Two contrasting colors will cause the shifting lines of the design to stand out more.
