Alphabet Bunting
This delightful bunting makes a wonderful personalised gift for a little baby and would look gorgeous hanging on their bedroom or playroom wall. Both Upper case and Lower case letters are available.
The bunting uses DK/Light worsted yarn (AUS: 8-ply) and each flag is made on a single crochet background with bobbles to form the letters. Flowers adorn each flag and add to the warm and welcoming feeling of the bunting.
The “Emily” bunting with 7 flags measures approx 32 ins / 81.5 cm when hanging.
Each flag weighs only 13g/0.458oz in acrylic dk yarn so it is a great pattern to use up scraps of yarn you may have leftover from other projects. You will also need a size 4.00mm (G/8) hook, a darning needle, 5 stitch markers (or safety pins!), steam iron and sewing pins to block and optional felt/fabric glue to stiffen flags further.
There are lots and lots of photographs in the pattern to help you along the way.
