The Alpine Avalanche is the chunky version of my Alpine Snowfall Beanie. This patterns works up extremely quick, and creates an adorable, and comfortable beanie that is sure to make winter days brighter, and warmer. Per usual with all my patterns the Avalanche has been thoroughly tested with a variety of yarn.

Amount of yarn is dependent on the size of beanie you are making. Infant sizes do not require a lot of yarn, while larger Adult sizes can require over a skein depending on the brand of yarn you use. For example Charisma.
