This cable - lace shawl is triangular in shape, and features unique and very ornate Alpine cable panels on one side, which are combined with both lace and knit-purl stitches. The shawl can be worn in many different ways. This shawl will keep you warm on cool spring nights, and you’ll have a lot of fun making it, if you enjoy cabling. The FO is well worth having, as it will be a fun piece to have in your wardrobe, and will attract many “oohs and ahh’s.
The shawl measures approximately 52 inches across the top, has a hypotenuse of 83 inches, and is 32 inches at the deepest point.
The stitches are charted. There is a second chart (in the addendum) in color for those who find it easier to work that way.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Advanced (assuming excellent cabling skills)
The shawl was expertly test knitted by: Teddi Sherrill who can be reached at tms808@ gmail.com, and was knit using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in colorway, Fjord.
