Alpine Ninja
The Alpine Ninja pattern is a unique pattern that basically allows you to be whatever you want to be and stay warm at the same time. Written in US terms, this is a fun project that can be made in a variety of sizes, for almost any age or gender. You don’t have to be boring to stay warm, have fun with it.
This pattern includes detailed instructions for sizes: Toddler through Adult XXL , a photo tutorial, and links to videos that will teach you the stitches that I used to create this pattern.
Gauge for this pattern is 7 FPDC/DC and 3 rows= 2 inches
Yardage for this pattern depends on size made: 125-350 yards of 4 weight yarn.
Materials:
– Any size 4 yarn will probably work; I use Red Heart Super Saver and I Love This Yarn.
– Size H/8 5.00mm Crochet Hook and Size I/9-5.50mm (I use Boye)
– Tapestry Needle
– Faux Fur Pompom, or a pompom maker. I prefer the Faux Fur Pompom with a sew on snap to make it removable for cleaning. I buy mine from Furling Pom Poms on Amazon.
– Sewing needle and thread for attaching the snap for the pompom
