The Alpine Peaks blanket is a project where you use the overlay mosaic technique. With this technique, you create beautiful patterns and textures by crocheting stitches over each other. In this pattern, you will learn how to make a lovely blanket with three different colors.

The result is a unique blanket with a bold, layered look. Whether you already have experience with mosaic crochet or want to try something new, this pattern is accessible to everyone. Grab your yarn and follow the steps – row by row, you’ll see your blanket come to life!

Is mosaic crochet and double borders new to you? No worries. This pattern includes a photo tutorial that explains the mosaic technique step by step.

The blanket I made is approximately 85 x 100 cm. The pattern clearly describes how to adjust it to any desired size. My blanket is crocheted with Scheepjes Colour Crafter and crochet hooks 3.5 and 4 mm, but of course, you can use any yarn you like.

Below is an overview of the colors used:
Color A: 2 skeins of Wolvenga (1099)
Color B: 2 skeins of Barneveld (1005)
Color C: 3 skeins of Urk (1034)
