“ALPINE” Crochet Scarf with Hat Pattern

This inspiration came to me on one of our cloudy days when the sun disappeared over the mountain tops leaving a pink and lavender glow. The clouds look like cotton candy.

I hope you will enjoy making these as much as I did creating them.

I combined several interesting stitches and 2 hook sizes to achieve the various textures.

Worsted Weight CREAM for the backgounds and 2 eyelash yarns in Pink and Fawn for the layered accent rows.

The SCARF is extra LONG. 80 inches of luxury to wrap around and around, or just leave it long. The length can be shortened if you like. Bordered with a picot edging and layered rows of pink and fawn eyelash yarn.

The Hat features a Puff Stitch border just above the headband for a 3 dimensional look. Big Stitches for the Crown set off by layered accent rows of pink and fawn eyelash yarn.
