A great thing to make as a gift for a variety of parties/holidays. Great for mother’s day, home warmings, Christmas, whatever you can think of.

This mug rug has a simple texture and some added fringe for a modern look. Great piece for a pop of color in a room. Cotton helps it soak up condensation and drops from coffee mugs or glasses.

You need at least 1 color of cotton, but 2 for some contrast.
You also need:

• A 5 mm hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Way to measure yarn for fringe. I suggest a cut up piece of paper towel roll or other stuff object to wrap yarn around and easily cut down one side.
