Fixed visor bill size: up to 12.5”/32cm width, up to 4.75”/12cm length
Customizable band length: Suitable for head circumference 20”-25”/ 50.5cm-63.5cm

The visor can be worn with your hair in a ponytail!

The crochet visor is made up of 2 parts: the band that goes around the head, and the bill that provides shade for the wearer.

The band of the visor is worked in rows with the Alpine stitch. The band is closed with some elastic for a better fit. There are 3 closure options that you can choose from.

The visor bill is made from 2 layers of crochet sandwiching a piece of plastic or interfacing. Pipe cleaners are used to give structure and shape to the visor bill.

Sample was made with 100% cotton yarn (approx. 90g/115m) and a 3.5mm hook. A piece of heavy weight mono-filament polyester interfacing was used as the bill insert. The band length is 18”/45.5cm and a white elastic cord was used to close the band.
