Alpinia Hat
by Traci Scott
Alpinia Hat is constructed by first knitting a ribbed band with Size 2 needles then switching to Size 3 for the charted colorwork. There are only 2 colors worked at a time.
This hat has 8 colors: a main color for the ribbed band and back ground, 4 leaf colors, and 3 flower colors. Perfect for scraps if you have them due to the fact that you only need small amounts for each color.
I used Knit Picks Palette in these colors:
Cream (MC) 120 yds
Caper 25yds
Clover 20 yds
Tarragon 20 yds
Lichen 20 yds
Orange 11 yds
Tomato 11 yds
Hollyberry 11 yds
