The Alta Sweater is the first basic sweater from Sisu. The pattern is beginner-friendly, and the sweater is knitted top down. You start by knitting a double neckband, then the yoke, followed by the body, and finally the sleeves.



The sweater is knitted with four strands of Tynn Silk Mohair held together on needle size 6 mm (US10).

It features a round yoke and ribbed edges at the body and sleeves. You should try the sweater on as you go, to achieve the perfect length for your body or the person you’re knitting for.

The measurements in this pattern is only correct if the given gauge is achieved.
 The sweater should have a positive ease from 5 to 10 cm.



The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are intended to fit a bust measurement of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm.

Measure yourself or the one your knitting for, to find the perfect size.
 If you’re 90 cm around your bust, you should knit a size S that measures 99 cm.

The brown sweater is knitted in Tynn Silk Mohair and the colors A 3041 B 3073 C 2321. While the pink sweater is knitted in Tynn Silk Mohair and the colors A 2321 B 4213 C 4600.

The model in the photos is 158 cm tall and has a bust measurement of 86 cm. The brown version is knitted in size XS (+5 cm positive ease), while the pink one is knitted in size S (+13 cm positive ease).
