These fine cable mitts have ribbed edges and feature an alternating rib cable framed by two twist cables which run the length of the back of the arm and palm, with a stockinette inner side and thumb. A pair of mitts can be knitted with only one 50g ball of 4-ply yarn, so they are very affordable to make and make perfect gifts for Christmas.

Each mitt measures approximately 26cm (10¼ inches) from cuff to palm edge.
