Worked with only 2 colors at a time, this chullo is easier than it looks! A total of 5 colors gives the hat a festive, designer appeal. Two different color charts are provided to give you a choice between a lighter hat or darker one, as shown in the samples.

It begins with a provisional cast-on and is worked from the bottom up, in the round. Once the crown is completed, the earflaps are worked flat. A Latvian braid decorates the entire bottom edge. Finally, hanging braids are sewn in place to give it that classic chullo style.
