Altitude Cowls ~ Twists
“Twists” is now available in an e-book of three cowls, called Altitude Cowls e-book
A fun & fast weekend knit with soft bulky weight yarn using a simple knit stitch from cast-on to bind-off, but with cabled twists interspersed here and there, giving this cowl a deeply three-dimensional wave texture that seems almost asymmetric (but its not!). Or use up yarns in your ‘stash’, holding two strands of plush worsted, or even include a third strand of fine fuzzy angora or mohair for halo effect. Who could guess it so easy? Great for a beginner project!
Shown modeled with no edging, just wild flips that the cables create. For a nice variation, work easy ribbing!
Note-worthy: If you plan on doing the smaller of the two sizes (80 stitches) be advised this is suitable size only for the bulky weights on big needles, as it can be very snug around the neck.
Also, this cowl works great in worsted-weight yarns work well, but I strongly advise smallest to be 100 stitch or even modifying to 120 stitches to accommodate for the finer gauge.
Endlessly modifiable~~ enjoy!
This pattern pairs well with Altitude Mitts ~Twists
