This sweater and hat set features rows of garter ripples that remind me of altocumulus clouds. Standard top-down raglan construction, with a pattern of slip stitch columns and garter sections, is appropriate for the average knitter. You need to be able to follow detailed written instructions, and handle double pointed needles for the sleeves and hat. The garter design naturally makes the front curve up in a decorative fashion, but can easily be blocked straight. Designed for American Girl dolls and other dolls of similar size and shape.
