Altrostratus Hat is a cabled hat with a folded brim with twisted ribbing on the inside, that you can knit using a provisional cast on or by sewing it at the end. At the top of the hat, the cables transform into twisted stitches that form the crown.

I wanted a delicate cable pattern with twisted stitches to let the texture and lightness of the yarn shine.

The look, softness and lightness of the yarn made me think of clouds and snow, hence the name Altostratus, a type of cloud that produces snow.

You will need 1 skein of Feli (or 164 yds of DK weight yarn) for the hat and 2 skeins of Feli (or 204 yds of DK weight yarn) for the cowl.

Le bonnet Altostratus a un bord replié avec des côtes torses à l’intérieur, que vous pouvez tricoter avec un montage provisoire ou en le cousant à la fin. Dans le haut du bonnet, les torsades se transforment en mailles torses simples pour former la couronne.

Je voulais avoir une torsade délicate, utilisant des mailles torses, pour laisser briller la texture et la légèreté de la laine.

Le look, la légèreté et la douceur de la laine me faisant penser à un nuage et à de la neige, les patrons se nomment Altrostratus (un nuage produisant de la neige).
