Alum bay ripple stitch cowl
by fran Low
I love this yarn Papatya rainbow. I had 100g left after
a previous project & was waiting for a special project.
On a childhood visit to the Isle of Wight, I made a
lighthouse with the coloured sands from Alum Bay,
which sits in my bathroom. Inspiration came & here we
have my shifting sands cowl. I knit in dk, you can use
any yarn you fancy
Takes 100g of yarn
4mm straight needles, or circular needles if you want the ripples to go East West
some odd yarn – any weight different colour about 2m
Tapestry needle
Now you can make this into a scarf if you would prefer
– more yarn needed obviously
