Alva is knit from the top down with the „contiguous sleeve method“, a sort of adapted raglan yoke. At first increases are made only on front and back, then only on sleeves and finally on both at the same time. The result looks like set-in sleeves and in this case also creates a pretty play of colors.
I-cord finishing on neckline, sleeves and body. There are two choices of neckline; straight in front (cover sample) and lowered front (the red sample). The former is knit in the round from the beginning but the latter is worked back and forth for the first 4-8 rows.

Gauge: 19 sts and 23 R stockinette st in the round make

Alva er prjónuð í hring ofan frá og niður með svokallaðri „contiguous sleeve method“ sem er nk. aðlöguð laskaermi. Fyrst er einungis aukið út á fram- og bakstykki, síðan eingöngu á ermum og loks bæði í einu. Útkoman líkist ísettri ermi og í þessu tilfelli verður fallegt litaspil að auki.

Snúrukantar (I-cord) eru í hálsmáli, fremst á ermum og neðst á bol.

Boðið er upp á tvær útfærslur á hálsmáli, þvert að framan (forsíðan) og lækkað að framan (rauðlita eintakið). Það þvera er allt prjónað í hring en hið lækkaða fram og til baka fyrstu 4-8 umferðirnar.

Prjónfesta: 19 L og 23 U mælt í sléttu prjóni í hring gefa
10x10cm.

Prjónar: 5mm hringprjónar (eða sú stærð sem gefur
rétta prjónfestu) 4,5mm fyrir snúrukanta.
