Alva hängselbyxor are knitted from the top down using circular needles. The project begins with a ribbed edge that includes two buttonholes before transitioning into the textured pattern. Short rows are worked to raise the back of the pants. A gusset is then knitted before finishing each leg separately. Finally, stitches are picked up at the back to knit two suspenders, which cross at the back. The suspenders are secured to the front panel with buttons.
