KNITTERS HELPFUL INFORMATION:
When reaching desired length of shawl, the stitches you are working with will become the edging using “short rows” DO NOT CAST OFF, continue with these stitches using instructions as given for left and right edging.

Pattern Clarification
On re-reading the pattern for the beaded edging I have rewritten the instructions for clarification.
Now work left side of pointed beaded cast off edging as folls:
Left cast off: K10, turn work, K10, turn work, K8, turn work, K8, turn work, K6, turn work, K6, turn work, K4, turn work, K4, turn work, K11, turn work, (K1, bead1WS) 5 times, K1, turn work, cast off 10 sts, - 1st on RH needle, K9 - 10 sts on RH needle 15 times, K to end. (151 sts)
Now work right side of pointed edging as folls:
Right cast off: K10, turn work, K10, turn work, K8, turn work, K8, turn work, K6, turn work, K6, turn work, K4, turn work, K4, turn work, K11, turn work, (K1, bead1RS) 5 times, K1, turn work, cast off 10 sts, - 1st on RH needle, K9 - 10 sts on RH needle 15 times, fasten off
