Always be a Unicorn Crochet pattern was designed to fit into a jar as a decorative item. I use Fimo (polymer clay) for the horn and pipe cleaners for the legs therefore it may not be suitable if you are planning on using it as a toy for young children.

The patterns are print friendly and contain minimal photos (to save you ink). The Photo guide has close ups of how to construct each part of the jar.

These patterns assume some crochet knowledge, it isn’t complex, but please be warned that the unicorn is fiddly so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. The unicorn is worked in continuous rounds amigurumi style, mostly in sc/ dc stitches.
