Alyeska hat and headband pattern is named after Alyeska resort in Girdwood, Alaska. Alyeska is home of the longest ungroomed powder run in North America. This powder run is over 2 miles long! Alyeska is also Alaska’s largest ski resort and is my favorite place to snowboard in the state. The gauge for the Alyeska hat and headband is worked with 6mm needles. You will need 5mm and 6mm 16’’ circular needles for this patten.
