Amalenca cardigan is worked top-down, seamlessly, with raglan sleeves. The yoke is decorated with lines of textured stitches. Sleeves are worked top down in the round. The hem and the cuffs are done in moss stitches as well as the button bands. All together it is a rather straight forward knitting.

It is worked at the gauge 26 sts X 34 rows, in st sts over 4 in / 10 cm using US 4 / 3.5 needle, washed and blocked.

Sizes
Pattern includes 14 sizes corresponding roughly to 3 m, (6 m, 9 m, 12 m), (18 m, 2, 3), (4, 5, 6), (7, 8, 9) 10 years. Pattern is designed with 2-3 in / 4-7 cm positive ease.
Final measurements are given in schematic. Choose the size closest to the chest measurement of the child plus the positive ease of your choice, whatever the age of the child is.
